The Rockwell Engineer of the Year award recognizes engineers demonstrating outstanding technical creativity and innovation, and embodies excellence in engineering. Exclusively designed and commissioned for Rockwell, the award features two sterling silver Leonardo da Vinci medallions stamped with old and young images of da Vinci, celebrating the tradition of innovation and the continuing spirit of discovery. The two sided medallion twisted open to the intricate story of the artist’s life and is housed in a custom acrylic award that pivots 360 degrees.
