This commissioned sculpture was presented to Dadi Perlmutter, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Intel Architecture Group in celebration of his distinguished leadership, vast contributions and exemplary innovativeness. The sculpture was designed around the Haswell chip, the last chip designed under Mr. Perlmutter’s leadership. Requiring hands of skilled masters, a team of artists carefully applied the chip to the glass, monitoring the tension between the glue and the chip to avoid cracks. A highly polished tiered black glass base captures the signatures of the 4 Chief Executive Officers of Intel.
